Young Artists at W.C. Reid Grow Skills and Techniques ~ March 11, 2011

Ready to work on painting

Wooden shapes on mat boards will be painted at another date

Painting continues

These young artists are intensly into their work and improving their technique...

Materials maintenance and cleaning up is an important part of the Artist's process

Checking brushes for paint hidden inside

Group photo after some great work

Time to read art, talk about today's process... what we learned and what we did.

Self-critique and helpful feedback done in a positive manner is building self-esteem.

We learn and teach each other, when we share about our work.

Each young artist gets an opportunity to share about their art and what they experienced while in this session; what techniques they learned, and what they will do differently in the future.
Work in various stages of completion
